I went with Lemonade because the price seemed reasonable, and their website was professional. The sign-up process was super easy through their app, and I got my dog covered quickly.
I’m in my third year with Lemonade, and it has brought me much peace of mind. The app is so good I rarely need to interact with a human, but I do get a personal email from an advocate after each claim. I even got my new puppy covered with them because my experience has been so good.
After doing a lot of research, I ended up using a website to compare policies and went with the cheapest option for my two pets. It seems like the best way to know for sure is to get a lot of quotes because prices can vary so much by location.
I’ve had a good experience with Figo. I’ve filed three claims and everything has been covered as I anticipated. Their app is very user-friendly, and the reimbursement has been fast. For example, a claim for a nose injury that needed sutures in February 2024 was processed in 2 days.
I found that Lemonade had the best price for a low deductible and good coverage for my puppy. Even though it wasn’t the absolute cheapest option, I’m sticking with them because I’ve been happy with their customer service, and their app is easy to use.
